Automatic vacation request and contact groups

Nice to see Gmail getting a few new features, including and particularly the automatic vacation responder. You can set that up so that only those in your contacts list get the responder or so that everybody gets it.

Gmail added contact groups

New Blogger Firefox extension

Just testing out the Blogger Firefox extension . This should make it even easier to post to Blogger-based blogs. I only have two of them (this one) and my very first official blog at tdavids.com/blogger. You can also post from within Microsoft Word.

Yeah, this isn't really related to Gmail, but I decided to test this here.

Unofficial Gmail Windows file system: Gspace

A curious use of Gmail, but may violate the TOS, so be careful if you use it this way, but here comes Gspace v0.1. This reminds me somewhat of gDisk for the Mac discussed earlier here.

Lifehacker posted a short tutorial for how to setup a tagging engine of sorts using labels and gmail sent to/from yourself.
